Many of you may have seen the BBC documentary this week featuring the intrepid group of 9 celebrities summiting Africa's highest peak in aid of Comic Relief. It was quite an emotional rollercoaster for the mixed bag of celebrities from various walks of life, but all well worth it!
We hope it may have inspired some of you to take on the challenge with a group of friends or to join one of our groups. Kilimanjaro: An Overview
A trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro is a magnificent and spectacular undertaking, one which ranks among the greatest outdoor challenges on the planet! Mount Kilimanjaro located in Northeast Tanzania, is the largest free-standing & highest walkable mountain in the world, the highest mountain in Africa and has the only snowfields on the equator! So long as you are reasonably fit and sufficiently focused, you can give yourself as high as a 90% chance of getting to the crater rim of Kilimanjaro just by getting the plan properly formulated.
