Tailormade Africa exists to make people’s safari dreams a reality. To understand each client’s unique safari dream, we need to build relationships with them. This process more often than not, results in tight bonds being formed and in many cases, clients become our friends and regular Tailormade Africa travellers. Once we have re-created the dream in words, we then make use of our amazing suppliers and supportive staff to give our client a Tailormade Africa safari of a lifetime. We make dreams happen!

It’s said that during a time of crisis many things get put to the test and we can safely say that our relationships with our clients are nothing short of pure gold. We’ve lost count of the number of calls, messages and emails that we’ve received to ask how we’re doing or to say that you’re thinking of us. Thank you for reaching out to us!
Then there are those that have had to make a decision regarding their booked Tailormade Africa safari. We’re proud to say our clients have the spirit of Ubuntu. They understand that their booked holiday is doing more than providing them with a time of relaxing as they get to appreciate the African bush. Their booking is providing work opportunities to areas that rely purely on bookings like theirs for survival. They also understand that the number of faces they see during their trip is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the number of mouths they’re feeding.
In Africa, when the spirit of Ubuntu is followed through, it means that one source of income provides for those that can’t generate an income, which can be up to 10 people. Thank you for your support and understanding and for not cancelling your trip but for postponing it to a time when we can travel again.

To Africa
The continent we have come to love so dearly. When the COVID-19 outbreak first raised its head in many areas of the World, we were thankful that the safest place to be was in-fact Africa. We were fearful of the implications of the virus hitting Africa because of the lack of resources as well as the large number of people with underlying health conditions living in some third-world countries. Our hearts just sunk as we heard of the first cases to hit the continent. Will our suppliers and friends across the continent that we’ve come to love be ok? Will our clients get to realise their dreams?
We have so far seen strong leadership in many African countries. Many borders were swiftly shut. State of Disasters have been called and in some cases, even States of Emergency. In many countries, testing is being implemented quickly and support is being given to those most in need. As it stands, it remains to be seen what the spread will be across this vast continent, but thank you to so many governments for stepping up and reacting so quickly having seen the effects of the virus elsewhere in the World. Thank you also to the people of those nations for loving your land and fellow countrymen and women as much as we do! We can only hope and pray that the virus is contained as quickly as possible in Africa.
Our message to you all during this time is that when we travel again, Africa will be safe and all her people will be ready and waiting for you. Tailormade Africa will be right here to tailor-make your dream Africa safari holiday. Happy Easter to each and every one of you! We trust that this Easter will be as enjoyable as any other as we all stand united to fight COVID-19 by staying home with our families.
