Imbabala Safari Lodge is a small unpretentious safari camp offering a true African safari experience, offering an unspoilt wilderness experience on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge is an unspoilt wilderness experience, on the banks of the Zambezi, where guests rapidly become friends. Imbabala was originally built in 1987 and first opened in 1988. Despite being completely refurbished over the years, Imbabala is still a small unpretentious safari camp offering a true “African Safari Experience”. Imbabala offers a bush spa experience, incredible bird viewing, Zambezi Tiger Fish fishing, unparalleled game viewing and Zamzezi sunset river cruises.
The Imbabala main lodge is a charming thatched structure, consisting of a lounge, dining room and bar area. This offers fantastic views of both the river and a nearby waterhole, which attracts game throughout the year. A swimming pool and al fresco eating area nestle under ancient trees.
Thatch Lodges
There are no fences to prevent animal movement, so expect to see game and wonderful birdlife along the river bank as well as in and around the Lodge. Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge offers exclusive accommodation for only 20 guests in 9 individual stone and thatch lodges with en-suite facilities. Each lodge is beautifully positioned with spacious verandas opening onto sweeping views of the Zambezi River.

Family Lodge
The Family Unit Consists of two interconnected both with en-suite bathrooms, one a double and one a twin allowing parents peace of mind whilst still being in comfort. Fan, tea and coffee facilities, safe, and hair dryer.
