Singita Serengeti House, an exclusive-use retreat designed for families and friends, has opened in the 350,000-acre Grumeti Reserves in the heart of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. Located on the slopes of Sasakwa Hill with breathtaking vistas of the endless, open plains of the Serengeti, the house is Singita’s response to a growing demand from discerning travellers for privacy and flexibility. Itineraries, activities and meals are tailor made and tweaked as guests dictate the day-to-day pace and rhythm of their vacation according to their interests and needs. Serengeti House is located on the slopes of the Sasakwa Hill and contains 4 intimate suites each with its own ensuite bathroom, flushing toilet, bath and shower, and each suite has their own private outdoor area. The infinity pool overlooks the plains allowing guests to view Mother Nature at work. The lodge is also child-friendly, with babysitting services and tailored activities for each family. The house overlooks a waterhole where elephants gather during the dry seasons.
