Tailormade Africa wants to express our immense joy and pride in our client Buddhilini De Soyza for the extraordinary achievement of being recognized in the annual Wildlife Photographer of the year awards by gaining a "highly commended" award for her utterly extraordinary shot of Cheetah fighting the currents of the Talek River in Kenya's Masaai Mara.
The Wildlife Photographer of the Year is an annual international wildlife photography competition staged by the Natural History Museum in London, England. It is the largest most prestigious wildlife photography competition in the world.
Cheetahs are not fond of water making this shot even more incredible. The look of fear and anguish on their faces is just exceptionally framed and it's hard to take your eyes away from the drama of the shot! We have been fortunate enough to see a lot of Dilini's photos and it is not a great surprise that the award has happened for her.
"Dilini" as she likes to be called is one of Clyde's most enthusiastic and loyal safari clients having done trips to Zimbabwe, Botswana and Tanzania. Clyde says that both Dilini and her equally awesome husband Bhanu have a real love and passion for all of Africa's safari countries. Her trust in what we ask them to do is unwavering and their sense of adventure has enabled them to have truly epic safari experiences. We know she is desperate to travel again and look forward to helping where we can, and see more of her photographs!!
Congratulations Dilini!! This recognition is so very much deserved and we all at Tailormade Africa could not be happier for you!!
