Sala’s Camp has become renowned for delivering an authentic Masai Mara safari experience with exceptional personalised service and fine dining. Seamlessly combining a traditional ‘under canvas’ safari experience with contemporary comfort.
Sala’s Camp sits in one of the best locations in the whole of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Intimate and secluded, it is nestled along the tree lined banks of the Sand River in the southern tip of the reserve. As such, it is less than two kilometres away from the Tanzanian border and enjoys a splendid wild outlook and wonderful views into the Serengeti National Park. This also means that it is one of the first camps in the Mara to witness the legendary annual wildebeest migration which thunders by from June to September each year. Sala’s Camp is renowned for delivering an authentic Masai Mara safari experience with exceptional personalised service and fine dining. Seamlessly combining a traditional ‘under canvas’ safari experience with contemporary comfort, including private plunge pools and glass fronted tents, Sala’s Camp offers an unforgettable and magical Mara retreat.
Sala’s Camp can accommodate up to 18 guests in seven spacious tents. This includes two family suites and two secluded honeymoon tents. Sala’s Camp offers space, comfort and serene wilderness views as well as an amazing safari experience.

Keekorok Tent
Set at the end of the camp, this en suite honeymoon tent is open plan with a copper bathtub and intimate plunge pool built into the deck which overlooks the river.

Keekorok Family Tent
Sala’s Keekorok Family Tent consists of two spacious en-suite bedrooms separated by an interconnecting lounge area, creating the ideal space for families or a group of friends. A wooden veranda spans the length of both tents with a plunge pool and sunken seating.

Forest Tents
Dotted along the riverbank with views over the plains and across to the Tanzanian hills, the Forest & Keekorok double tents provide tranquil spaces in which to relax and soak up the surrounding nature. Whilst they are all subtly different in design, they each have the same amenities and tranquil natural surroundings with views across the Sand River and into the Serengeti. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead out onto either a patio or a or a wooden deck, with space for intimate star-lit dining if desired. Private plunge pools and wooden decks allow for total relaxation in the soothing green surroundings of nature.

Forest Family Tent
Located next to the main mess area, this tent offers a spacious twin and double bedroom separated by a small open plan lounge area. Each room has its own bathroom and lovely south facing views. This tent also has a private container pool and wooden riverside deck.
