Little Governors Camp is situated in the Riverine Forest, on the edge of the Masai Mara National Reserve, around a watering hole, close to the Mara River with views across to the Olololo Escarpment.
Little Governors’ is intimate in character, with just 17 luxury en-suite tents tucked around a large watering hole that teems with both birds and wildlife. Located on the edge of the Masai Mara National Reserve, the camp is accessed by a very short boat ride across the Mara River, then an escorted walk through the riverine forest. Vehicles are left on the far river bank and the camp is therefore quiet and undisturbed. The guest tents at Little Governors’ have wooden decks with large verandahs for guests to enjoy the constant game activity that takes place around the marsh in front of camp.
Breakfast and lunch are served in the open air, and the resident family of warthogs frequently wander amongst the tables. There is a central tent with bar overlooking the waterhole, as well as a dining tent, souvenir shop and reception.
Spacious luxurious safari tents entirely under canvas. The guest tents at Little Governors’ are all tucked into the edge of the forest overlooking a natural waterhole frequented by many animals.

The spacious, luxurious safari tents are entirely under canvas, tucked into the edge of the forest overlooking a natural waterhole frequented by a variety of wildlife. Each tent has a private verandah and en-suite bathrooms with shower basin, flush toilet, and hot and cold running water.
Honeymoon Tent
The Honeymoon suite is located at the edge of the camp with wonderful wide views over the waterhole and plains. It has a wild and private feeling. The tent is spacious with an en-suite bathroom and a polished wooden deck with large veranda to enable guests to relax and enjoy the panorama of animals visiting the watering hole in front.
