Tassia Lodge

Tassia lodge captures all elements of the Kenyan bush and is an ideal escape for those searching for a taste of unspoiled Africa. Set in a stunning wilderness area, situated on the 60,000 acre Lekurruki Community Ranch, it gives a spectacular and breathtaking view of the Northern Frontier District towards Samburu and its neighbours, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and Borana Ranch.

Tassia is the only lodge on this conservancy allowing its guests complete privacy in a wilderness area largely untouched by tourism. Tassia sits perched on the cliff top positioning itself perfectly to maximize the spectacular view. With just six spacious rooms all moulded into the natural surroundings, the lodge has a truly original feel. Each room has its own individual design working around the rocks and trees already present at the time of building.

Other features of the lodge include a horizon swimming pool with a sunbathing deck, dining room, bar, chill out and deck area and roof top platform. Meals are served communally dotted around the lodge. One evening you might find yourself dining under the stars sitting on comfortable cushions on the roof, the next on a wooden deck by the swimming pool with rock hyrax playing on the boulders below. Romantic private dinners can also be arranged.
