Nxabega Camp

Nxabega Camp is known for its elegant tented accommodation, which boasts breathtaking views of both mature mopane woodlands and seasonally flooded grasslands. You have the priceless opportunity of discovering the myriad wildlife wonders of this diverse land-water Okavango location.

Nxabega Camp is a very high end safari camp, recently renovated and refreshed which in all honesty was well overdue. However, nothing needed changing with regards to the camp atmosphere, staff interactions with guests nor the quality of the safari experience and thankfully nothing has changed here.

The camp has a main mess area with a lovely swimming pool. 9 gorgeous guest suites look out over the watery plains and are beautifully presented with an outdoor Sala and accompanying swing chair.

The game viewing is very good all year round and the camp offers a full spectrum of safari activities including a scenic Helicopter ride. The Mokoro boat safaris are particularly good with unusually good big game sightings.

The owners of this camp have been favorites of ours over the years as we love their approach to conservation and community work and the projects they undertake across all areas in Africa they operate. A shining example for everyone to follow.

Beautiful views, teak floors and a high pitched, open-truss ceiling frame the central guest area. Expansive indoor and outdoor sitting and dining areas include a wide range of guest-pleasure amenities.

Raised on wooden platforms, the spacious tented suites let in the sights and sounds of the African bush and offer glamourous, light and earthy interiors. Front-facing beds make the most of the sensational Delta views, while a spacious dressing area sits snugly behind the bed’s giant headboard, in between the bedroom and ensuite bathroom, to ensure the utmost privacy. The beautiful bathrooms come complete with indoor and al fresco showers.
