Matobo Hills National Park

Matobo Hills National Park has an intensive protection zone for both black and white rhinos. Boasting as Zimbabwe's oldest national park and a Unesco World Heritage Site, it only has two private camps, so the visitor numbers are low and you will be treated to an authentic safari experience. Matobo is also a hikers paradise with breath-taking scenery, eye-catching balancing rock formations and 3000 known Bushman rock painting sites.

Gonarezhou National Park

Home to the Shangaan culture, Gonarezhou National Park is rugged, remote and known as the beautiful 'place of elephants'. Gonarezhou is one of the last truly unspoilt wilderness areas in Africa, home to the big 5 and a good numbers of Rhino. There are only two camps in this park which again makes for a truly authentic safari. For those who like to see Wild Dogs, Gonarezhou has some good numbers. It has been quoted by many as being 'epic'!

Mana Pools National Park

Mana Pools has been dubbed as Africa's finest and most exciting national park. Africa's most sensational safari area is situated on the stunning lower Zambezi River. People come from afar to experience some of Africa's most remarkable walking safaris. Mana Pools National Park is also one of the best places to see Wild Dog. This park has some extraordinary camps ranging from mid-range to luxury and also includes adventurous camps. This World Heritage Site is also known for some of Zimbabwe's top field guides.

Lake Kariba & Matusadona National Park

If you want to see some of Africa's best sunsets then best you visit Lake Kariba & Matusadona National Park . These offer exceptional land and water-based safari activities and it's the best place in Africa for cruising in a luxury houseboat. Kariba is one of the largest man-made lakes in the world and certainly one of the most beautiful lakes, being surrounded by a stand-alone wildlife national park and the breath-taking backdrop of the Matusadona mountain range.

Victoria Falls Zimbabwe

Who can forget the splendour that is the Victoria Falls Zimbabwe ? One of the original natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Victoria Falls is certainly one of the most beautiful, majestic and largest waterfalls in the world. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (Tokaleya Tonga for 'the Smoke that Thunders) the Victoria Falls along the mighty Zambezi River offers not only great wildlife safaris but a myriad of activities from helicopter flights to canoe safaris, bungee jumping, the flying fox, zip lining and white water rafting.
